I faintly remember someone else posting one of these before, the sig without the.. ehm, frame.. I can't remember their name however.

You're relying too much on filters.

 

Top one (of the new 2) just a lens flare on top, the bottom is just a wave/ripple on it.

 

Text effects don't look too great either. Generally, don't apply them if you don't know what you are doing.

 

 

 

ALWAYS be sure to keep the PSD aswell. If you want to go back and edit, you can save a lot of time rather than having to re-make it.
