It depends on how you define "good"

 

 

 

Do you mean: best drops, or least food needed, or fastest exp, or nearest to a bank, or cheapest supplies, etc.

 

 

 

Also, are you P2P or F2P?

 

What is your fletching and/or runecrafting level?

 

 

 

Generally speaking,

 

if you want good loot then kill the highest level monster that you can.

 

But if you want fast exp and/or least food needed, then kill lower level

 

monsters under level 30.

If u need xp i advise rock crabs north of relekka

I train still there and am level 69

Rock crabs aren't bad for your stats, I'd also try training at pest control.

I never trained at rock crabs because I wasn't in a rush for xp, I prefer slower xp and better drops.

 

 

 

At 40 range I would say either Fally wall guards (lv22 dropping lv clues) or moss giants, Varrock sewers southern chamber is good for safe spots and not often overly busy assuming you are p2p. I usually stay down there till I get a full invent of worthwhile stuff, reasonable prayer xp too.

 

 

 

For combat I use slayer tasks because it moves you about a bit and lets you do longer stints of training because you have a goal to aim for (next task) sometimes you get rubbish but its been ok for me.

If you're f2p, train melee at hill giants. Pretty decent exp, and good money for f2p.

I Suggest to train on rock crabs.

 

If you complete The Fenkenstrain Quest, experiments all the way on.
