imhomer
Here's a sketch I did while I was bored in school today. I understand my drawing skill is limited which is why I'm coming here to get opinions on how (not what) I can improve. Saying that the hand is out of proprtion to the rest of the body (which is true for this piece) does not help. Saying that a forearm is about two hands in length and the shoulder span is about 4 hands does help. Anyways, here it is. Problems I know I have with this are: *Hand is out of proportion to the body *Cloak is very squarish and doesn't hang quite naturally *Hand holding staff is just plain bad (I'm bad at hands if you can tell) *Staff has too many angles and not enough curves to look like natural wood I started with the fireball and then did the hand. Up to this point I think it was good. After I started the arm, things fell out of proportion and got messed up. Estimated time to completion: 1 hour of work (between classes and such.) And please, no ratings.
Bendel0240
The head seems to be a little too far back on the shoulders/not centered between the shoulders. I think that is what is wrong, I'm not sure, just kinda looks awkward. Otherwise, nice job. The problems you already said cover anything else I can think of. I didn't want to take up so much space by posting the pic directly on the thread so I did a thumbnail :? .

Mandorath
Well now I can see it :D, some flaws I found by first sight: staff is a bit weird, strange shoulders he has, hands too long. The sleeve on the left hand is good in my opinion though.
