Discussion : Player Interfaces (and other updates...)

This is just my opinion and I have sent a complaint to Jagex about this. So, the new interfaces, oh yay how exciting. I logged on to see runescape changed. Well seeing the new emotes and other changes, I was very paterbed about this. Some key things I don't like.

 

 

 

Dislikes:

 

Stats (Orangeish color, not clear..original yellow(?) was better.

 

Controls (too graphic, childish?)

 

Emotes (TOO graphic, this isn't your average RuneScape)

 

Run Option (hard to find, hard to PK with, plain out dumb)

 

Others not mentioned

 

 

 

Likes:

 

Equipment screen

 

Boot update (a bit off-topic)

 

 

 

 

 

What I'm saying is that the new updates SUCK. I've already sent a complaint telling them how bad they did and explained.

 

All I'm asking is for your opinion on the new update and tell me why you dont/do like it. Thanks for your time =).

Why would you send in a complaint to Jagex anyway?

 

You should thank them for at least updating it.

 

Runescape is evolving,get used to it.

 

Also, for the run option, it isn't that hard. You don't have to click on the little circle. Just the man running

If you really need to know, if you hold the ctrl button on your keyboard before you click somewhere, your guy automaticlly runs, so with that in mind there is really no need for the run option If you wish to keep going without stopping run just clicksomewhere else before your guy reachs the desegnated place and he'll(she'll) keep running till s/he gets there.

As i mentioned in a different thread, there should be an option where right before the detail select, you get to choose from the old interface and the new one, that should settle most problems. The new interface made one of my friends quit, the one that owes me 200k too! :evil: :evil: :evil:

I've said the same thing about interface changes before (i.e. Constrution [new skill, quest journal for qp, hover over skill for XP]) and I've gotten used to them. In a few weeks everybody will forget aout the old ones I bet.
