Speech

Featured Replies

When I mention speech, people always go 'Why are you in speech? You talk just fine!'...as in speech therapy. No. Speech is a competition that tests your...speech delivering/charisma, against others of the same category. I myself have been in a dramatic duo for two years now, and am wondering if anyone else has participated in speech?

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

I've never participated in 'speech', but I hate giving presentations for a class or speaking to groups of people.. I'm a quiet guy and generally keep my opinions to myself.. However, for my freshman english class I did have a pretty good time writing a speech about how Wal-Mart is corrupting the U.S. economy.. Delivering it.. Well, that kind of hurt my grade... <.<

We used to have that class here, but for the past few years, no one was qualified to teach it... However, we do have forensics and it's a pretty popular thing (not that I'm in it ;) ). It sounds like what you're talking about
