October 4, 200619 yr Ok, this is quite a newby question :oops: but what should I train and not train for a range or mage pure? I've started training a mage pure by training only mage, but I would like to train prayer, unless of course that will cause my combat level to rise. (I want a low combat level compared to my mage level). So can someone explain this to me? :-k
October 4, 200619 yr Yes, prayer will boost your combat level. No, range will not increase your combat level, only through a result of hp, which is needed for an effective pker anyways. No, prayer is not that useful on a new pker anyways, especially on a mage. (Until high levels, prayer is not worth it, and at high levels, mostly only for warriors. Unless you use protections...) People just need to learn to share crabs.I'd prefer my nether regions clear of diseases, thank you very much.just turn off accept aids

October 5, 200619 yr mage will cause your combat aswell, becasue every damage you inflict gives 1.33 exp towards your hp
October 5, 200619 yr use non-combat spells to raise your magic without raising hp, then train range for the hp. =P
