October 6, 200619 yr You have to save it as a .GIF or make it a shockwaveflash extension. I've only used photoshop to make these, but then again photoshop isn't free. I know there was a really cool program I use to have that was like 4 megs and was free and it rocked.... not sure if you can make .GIF's with gimp, you could try that.
