You have to save it as a .GIF or make it a shockwaveflash extension.

 

 

 

I've only used photoshop to make these, but then again photoshop isn't free. I know there was a really cool program I use to have that was like 4 megs and was free and it rocked.... not sure if you can make .GIF's with gimp, you could try that.

 

 

 

Try this, no clue what the program is but the name sounds promising.
