You know sometimes your teleport can go wrong (even if you are being sent to the ess mines).

 

 

 

Well it used to be if you twiddled the wrong appendage you took damage.

 

 

 

This seems to have changed and could be reducing both your mage and possibly prayer.

 

 

 

Anyone else come across this?

 

 

 

It happened to me when I was mining ess via the mage guild, got stuck during the teleport and gifted with some extra ess. Once I banked it and tried to get back I found I could no longer enter the mage guild.

 

 

 

I have been trying to keep an eye open for others commenting about this, but so far nothing. :?

I am so glad you posted this! Last night I got the appendage random event and I messed up on it a few times. Well I never knew it drains your mage level each time you make a mistake in the matrix. My mage level went from 90 to 41 ( Yes, yes that is how many times I messed up ) lol. I went to tele to Arddy and I could not , you think I bothered to look at my mage level Noooo.. so I sent in a bug to Jagex telling them about what happen not knowing it drains my mage level. :oops:

 

So is this something new that it drains your mage level everytime you mess up in the matrix? I can not recall this happening to me before.

 

It seems you no longer take damage and it drains your magic level instead now.

There is nothing in the knowledge base about it.

 

 

 

I think your mage level is reduced by 10 every time you get it wrong and am not sure if there is an effect on your prayer or not. (Both times this happened my prayer was not at full for one reason or another).

 

 

 

It would be good to get some accurate details so we could update our random events guide.

O.K. that it explains it all then, I never bothered to look at my prayer level so can't comment on that. Nice little update we found here. :)
