how can i get back into west ardy after finishing plague city quest? the way used in the quest doesnt work anymore, it just says "the ground has been filled and packed hard."

that's the problem, there is no tips and tricks section:

 

 

 

Difficulty level: Medium

 

 

 

Start location: Talk to Edmond, north of the castle in Ardougne.

 

 

 

Required:

 

 

 

Items: Dwellberries, rope, at least 4 buckets of water, spade, bucket of milk, chocolate or chocolate dust, pestle and mortar, and snape grass.

 

 

 

Monsters: Guard Dog (level 44) (evade)

 

 

 

NPC: Edmond, Alrena, Jethick, Rehnison family, Mourner, Clerk, Bravek, Elena

Gasmask

 

 

 

Inside Edmond's house talk to Alrena. She will ask you to get dwellberries for a gasmask.

 

 

 

Dwellberries

 

 

 

You can purchase Dwellberries in the grocery stores upstairs in the Grand Tree (northwest and southeast corners) at the Tree Gnome Stronghold . For the harder method, go to Mcgrubor's Woods, west of Seers' Village. Go to the house to the north of the woods, and to the east of that, you will find some "Loose railings" you can squeeze through. Be prepared to run past or defend yourself against level 44 Guard dogs. Find some Dwellberries to the east of the Loose railings. Go back to Alrena; she will give you the Gasmask.

 

 

 

Getting into Plague City

 

 

 

Get a picture of Edmond's daughter from the house. Use the 4 buckets of water on the soil west of the house to soften it up, otherwise the soil is too hard to dig. Use spade and then you will fall down into sewers.

 

 

 

Through the pipe

 

 

 

Go to the pipe (south-west from where you are) that is covered with a grill. Use rope on grill and ask Edmond to help you pull the rope. Then go through the pipe to Plague City.

 

 

 

The Rehnison Family

 

 

 

Speak to Jethick as you come out of the manhole and he will direct you to the Rehnison house and ask you to return a book to them. Find their house and ask them about the daughter and they will direct you to a house with a black cross painted on the door. It is in the southern part of West Ardougne.

 

 

 

Plague house

 

 

 

Try to enter and you will be stopped (make sure you tell him that you're looking for a kidnapped woman or you can't go any further). You need to go find Bravek's office which is located north of the manhole. Tell the Clerk that it's important and he will let you in.

 

 

 

Hangover

 

 

 

Bravek has a hangover and you need to get a cure. Talk to him until you get a list of the ingredients from him. Add chocolate dust (grind chocolate bar with pestle and mortar) to milk, then add the snape grass. (See our herblore guide for where to find Snape grass. A good idea would be to head to the "Hobgoblin peninsula" south west of Falador next to the Crafting Guild where you can pick up some snape grass. For milk you need to go to a dairy cow.) Bravek will give you the warrant you need to enter the plague house.

 

 

 

Enter plague house

 

 

 

Once inside the house, go to the basement and you find Elena. You need to find the key, which is hidden in a barrel upstairs in the house. Once you have rescued her, go back to Edmond and he will reward you for saving his daughter.

 

 

 

Reward:

 

 

 

* 2425 Mining xp

 

* A magic scroll that teaches you the Ardougne teleport (level 51 magic required)

 

 

 

Quest points gained on completion: 1

oh i found the solution: i just started biohazard and that makes me unable to use any other way over the wall than omart. thanks for your help.
