It took me hours and 4 clues to reach to this stage and now i can't get to it! Now i have to kill 100's of monsters again to get a new one. That's why the reward is greater. I would recommend getting yourself to the point where you can start the Legends Quest. That Karamja Jungle location comes up quite often for level 3 clue scrolls. 100s of monsters is not abnormal for a clue drop. One more thing. Please refrain from using profanity on these boards.
