Blue Dragons have 107hp. This means you can get from 214xp (if the cannon does all the damage) to 428xp (if you deal all the damage with your bow). Ranged exp means you'll get some ammount of hp exp, which will be somewhere from 0-142, depending on your cannon damage/bow damage ratio.

 

 

 

Surprisingly enough, blue dragons give around 4.1 exp per hit. Very hard to notice, but if you observe your exp while ranging carefully you can see it.
