I have the Battered Book as my book variable, but I have completed the Elemental Workshop series to date, and the only books I can retrieve are Slashed Books, I send a report to JAGeX already, but is there any other way I can get the Battered Book for the list?

 

 

 

(Yes, I did check both types of bookshelves, the Seer's Village ones and POH ones)

Have you tried bringing the slashed book to the dwarf? Usually, when you try to smith in that secret room in Seers, you get a warning that you can't do it without the Battered Book, but you're now able to do it with the Slashed book, so perhaps they just updated the name?

Just checked my POH shelve again, now it's a battered one, although I did have a slashed one in my inventory.

The battered book got changed into the slashed one, as it had a name confusion with something else I don't remember. (This was by the time dds got changed to ddp++)
