Edit: **Need help rotating display on ATI graphics card**

Featured Replies

Well, I'm a werid person. :uhh: And I want to watch my Poseidon DVD on the computer upside down, which makes the movie right-side up. But I'm not sure if it's safe to flip my TFT monitor upside down while it's on.

Is it ok?

just... uh.... use the "rotate monitor" function and say 'rotate 180 degrees'. You don't have to physically flip anything....

These are the directions for ATI graphics cards. Right click the task bar icon> "graphics card name" series> rotate display > inverted landscape. It should be similar for Nvidia but I'm not sure.

right click your desktop

There should be an option like "nvidia display" or "ati display" or something simular to that depending on the card... click that and look thru all the options. one of the options should say something like rotate. I use nvdia.

If you can't find it, do this:

right click your desktop, go to properties. Click the "settings" tab, click advanced. A new window should come up, click your video card name tab (Mine says GeForce 7600 GS, yours should be similar depending on your card) your card's control panel should then come up, and you should be able to browse thru the options and find the rotation dealio.

Ok, here's another way for ATI. Go into the program called "Catalyst Center" by finding it in the start menu. Go to view up the top and click on advanced view.

Then after that click display manager> and select inverted landscape in the rotation drop down box.
