October 15, 200619 yr 1: Mining caverns "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL THE ORE MARKET!?" i hear you cry. No, because i am going to explain how it works. There are hotspots, yes, but they don't work in building mode. What you need to do is get hold of a mineral seed that you can buy from a new dwarf NPC in the keldagrim mines. What you do is this: you can plant your seed in the wall of the cavern and it will leech its type of minerals out of the soil for you to mine. They can only do so much in a day, so for example you can only get 100 ore from a large seed every day. There are different sized seeds for different construction levels, and while you can plant a lot of seeds the larger ones take up more space, so you have to plan ahead when planting your mineral seeds. These things will cost quite a bit to get hold of, to make it fair for what else you can put in your own home, for example the... Blacksmith's room: This would have a furnace, an anvil and an elemental workbench. What is that, you may ask? Well, it allows you to take an elemental bar, and turn it into either a shortsword or a group of arrowheads, so you can enchant them with some new spells. You want some fire or ice arrows/swords? You can make them! Player owned shops: Yes, this is something else that should be taken into serious consideration. Basically it would allow you to place an object into the shop, name the price, and allow you to withdraw the cash once the objects in question are sold. This is something that could drastically cut scamming, by fixing the price. And as long as a browse feature is included, the street prices should remain the same. However, the forums would still be needed for quicker sales, things like that. Acess house while offline: People should only be able to do this if they are on your own friends list. Kick certain people out: If there is a trouble maker in your house, you should be able to add them to the ignore list to instantly kick them out, and block them from coming back in. The study: Two things for this, first starsigns. When you complete the observatory quest, you should have seen a starsign. This would be your personal starsign until you use the telescope there again to pick a new one. Then when you get home, you can tell whether or not today is a lucky day for you, which affects your drop ratios very slightly, as well as rewards from random events. You can only do this once every 24 hours, to keep it fair. Second thing, is an alchemist's table. This allows you to mix multiple potions at the same time, basically a timesaver. The kitchen: There is just one idea i have to improve this, and its big. Basically it would allow you to create seasonings for your food, once seasoned it it untradeable. This would require a certain herblore level as well as herbs, and once done the food would give you special effects when eaten, like extra special attack energy, or more run energy. The magic safe: this would allow you to acess your bank for money only from your house, and that includes the pin number and everything. Mainly for convenience. Armor display cabinet: This would let you lock your best suit of equipment in a clear display cabinet, and would have an untradeable key that you can get back from the cabinet if you destroyed it. Goldfishbowl table: This would go in the parlor, and would simply let you keep your goldfish in your house. Once there, it must be fed once a day with fish food. It also keeps a record of how long your fish has lived, what is it's age, gender, weight, things like that. With more construction levels, you can upgrade it so you can see your fish swimming around inside a huge tank. And finally, possibly one of the best ideas... Your own agility course/shortcuts: This would let you create all kinds of crazy shortcuts in your house, and maybe your own personalised agility courses! For example, you could have a fire pole down into the dining room, trellis you can climb up to the second floor, a zip line through a window into your dining room... Your own agility course would consist of pipes, nets, ropeswings etc, and for that multiplayer race to the finish, power-ups like a snare spell to trip your opponents up! Some of these ideas have probably been thought of before, but these are things i'd really like to see in my house, or other people's houses. For the levels, requirements and things i'd leave that up to Jagex, but these are just my personal thoughts on what i'd like to see. Discuss.
October 15, 200619 yr I love the ideas, some can be good problem fixers  Now lets hope Jagex puts these in their game (if they ever come to Forum.Tip.It Forum Index -> RuneScape Discussions & Suggestions :uhh:  ) Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.

October 15, 200619 yr 1. mining caverns. Ok idea if you limit and cut the xp in half or something, no problem. 2. Blacksmith's room. I disagree entirely, this would make it to good and unbalanced completely. I guess you haven't done any research on this, cause there ARE ice arrows AND Fire arrows. 3. if you can make this, you're a member, and if you're a member, you can use the forums, thus this is pointless. 4. no. 5. yes. 6. No, gives unfair advantage 7. yes, no, no 8. Yes 9. You stole that from me, please be more original, i do not appreciate when my ideas are completely taken and put in another thread that's right above it. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
October 15, 200619 yr Author First, i have put a limit on what you can mine in a day. Second, fire and ice arrows aren't easy to get hold of. And they aren't even really used for combat. Lastly, don't accuse me of stealing your idea. I thought of it just like you probably did.
October 15, 200619 yr very nice ideas and well put. RIP TET "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche

Lastly, don't accuse me of stealing your idea. I thought of it just like you probably did. Well, its an idea that's exactly like mine pretty much, so u can see why i'd think that  Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
October 16, 200619 yr Author Well, its an idea that's exactly like mine pretty much, so u can see why i'd think that  Well, i dunno, my idea was stretched out over several rooms with a type of racetrack in mind, and i didn't see anything about crazy agility shortcuts in your thread.
