different coconuts

Featured Replies

I originally got this idea during a family trip to Hawaii where I saw Hawaiian natives climb trees to get coconuts. However, coconuts have already been implemented into RS, so this idea is a bit different.

---

Some places in RS shoud have very tall coconut trees. They require level 75 agility to climb, and failing will cause the player to lose 30%-50% health (each successful climb and pick gives 80 agility exp).

Now these coconuts have been undisturbed since they are so hard to get, so they should have higher qualities and more uses. Players would also need a knife in their inventory in order to cut these tougher coconuts from trees.

Players would be able to get a "quality coconut". To use the coconut, players must use the coconut with shredding [bleep]es found in tropical villages. This gives a "quality coconut shell" and coconut fronds. Fronds can be used with a needle and thread to make coconut frond hats (level 50 crafting, 80 exp) that give no bonus and are merely for looks.

Quality coconut shells can be cracked with a hammer (requires level 30 strength) and give 5 strength exp. Those shells would be able to fill 3 vials instead of one, or can be drunk to heal 15 hits.

Players should also be able to make coconut cream pies. Players would need a pie shell, an empty coconut shell, and a knife. Players can cut the coconut and get coconut and get coconut white. They would also need cream. The pie would require level 75 cooking and heal 10 hits per half.
