ok i tried the fight caves...

My girlfriend hates me now since I just spent an entire saturday playing the fight caves...and I didn't even get a fire cape :oops: :wall: :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My problems are this..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1) When it comes to having to fight both the guys that shoot with range and the other guy that absolutely requires mage prayer on at all times, the range guys end up eating away all my hp before I can knock them off. I have studied the fight cave videos, and he just seems to take the hits from the range attacks until he kills them, then he turns his attention to the maging monster (I cant remember any of these things names)..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

sooo...My defence is 76..is this just too low? (my range is 90 and im potted to 103 ranged throughout)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) second problem is that when I watch the video of the final fight, I cant for the life of me figure out when you need to sswitch from mage prayer to range prayer...I know it has something to do with his legs but boy...the movements all look the same to me :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways...any advice would help..and I have a total respect for people walking around in these capes now :?

1) You kill the Lv 90's first, before every other monster (with the possible exception of lv 22 bats.) If you have a problem, turn on steel skin when the wave begins. 76 defence is grand, i did it with 77 defence. in fact i did it with a much lower ranged level than you (75), so you shouldnt have too much of a problem with them. Make sure you are using muggi's guide though, guthan's set makes it harder because you have to actually melee the guys (and having a lower prayer bonus, meaning your prayer will drain faster and you need to pot more often)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) For mage attack, he pulls up his legs and holds them in the air for a while before letting them back down again. When jad pulls them up, you will also hear the sound of retribution prayer going off. Thats when you turn mage prayer on. If he pulls them up and slams them down immediate (as well as having no sound when he does that), its ranged attack. Put on your ranged prayer then.
