October 30, 200619 yr Ok I wanted to know if you can use atleast some php in a website without a server. I just mean to use a small bit of it to do something small like a tool to search through my site. Don't worry I am in no rush, I am still working on it if you have visited it. Thank you everybody for rising up against macroing!!!
October 30, 200619 yr Author Isn't apache another language like php? I meant like put it into my html and make it work without a server. Thank you everybody for rising up against macroing!!!
October 30, 200619 yr Apache is an industry standard web server. Not a language. And no you can't run PHP without a webserver unless you're running something that's console based and isn't doing any kind of html output (unless you like imagining what pages look like).
October 30, 200619 yr You mean you want to use php to process pages locally? For that you could download apache and php, or go the whole hog and get WAMP (Apache, Mysql and Php running on Windows) http://www.wampserver.com/en/ Where the bloody hell are you?
October 30, 200619 yr Dude your website is crazy lol. He means he wants to run php scripts on freewebs. Which I don't believe you can do. Find a free host that supports PHP?
October 30, 200619 yr Author Yeah, a free server is pretty much what I am looking for. Lol I'm a cheapsake. Thank you everybody for rising up against macroing!!!
