Yes, pure ess from Miscelania, this will solve (a part of) the essence shortage, I suggest making them around 35 each, this will drive the price down a lot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To get access to this you need to do a quest, a fairly easy one, but you can only start it after Royal Trouble. It will consist of the following things: There is discovered a new island near Miscelania and Etceteria, and ofcourse King Vargas first thought is: ATTACK! He does that with his son he goes there (there is made an outway from the palace for him) and attacks the island, too bad they do have an army and capture the son of king vargas, in the quest you will first need to rescue the son, then you go again and kill the army, then the island belongs to Miscelania and you can travel to it by the boat of that guy which sails there to Relleka (forgot his name), on the island there is a rune essence mine, which you can use in the same way as the other subjects

In keeping with the "spirit" of the game, I think rune essence (pure or otherwise) is too rare and mystical to be gathered by simple workers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since runes (although not essences) can be found for sale in many places throughout Runescape, the ultimate end-product of using essences, I think they've kinda covered this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to gather Pure Essence for less than 100 gp each, but that also takes away a great money-making opportunity for lower-levels. A method that I certainly used in the early days (though back then they were selling for 70 each!).
