K00pa Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Yeah, took a break from designing, people might remember me from my older forum name, Jaguar_Kings or Kings_ I used to make alot of sigs and such, but my PC crashed, had to work alot to buy a new one, you know the drill. Now, I finally found my Adobe Photoshop CS2 Disc again, I installed it and started to try out things again. Here's the result: Rate/hate/flame/whatever. I love comments, especially when they're helpful. :thumbsup: ^^ TY SO MUCH FOR THE SIG, PINK!! <3<3Add me on MSN whenever you feel like talking, about anything. Text needs work terribly IMO Text IS horrible, when my other PC crashed, I lost over 5000 fonts. I've been using PS for a long time, but when I started using it again today I felt like a total noob, didn't know how to do anything good looking in anyway. And it isn't just brushing. This sig is made of 40% brushes and like 35% filtering, and 35% of the picture (which you can't see anymore) I've distorted/filtered to an effect. And your right, I should use C4D but I can't find my disc of it anymore, and couldn't find the trial so fast, so I went to use PS already because I really felt like making something. Prettyyyy..... Needs a render though and what brushes are you using? Url please? :-k I don't know which ones I use, I've been browsing on DeviantArt and found some cool sets, downloaded like 7 sets with 20-50 brushes. Sorry. Text needs work terribly IMO Erm, actually, yes it is...if you don't use a program for a certain extent period of time, especially such as a year and a half...you forgot techniques, creativity, flow, composition and general ideas... Take for example, I used to have keyboard lessons for 4 years, I quit, and it's now been 4 years. I'm quite good again now, but when I first re-started, I totally blanked. K00pa, that's a very nice sig for a 18 month (year and a half) break! Just work on your fonts and try not to make the text the focal point (center of attention), nice colours and maybe add some more to it next time. Good luck! P.S. Well, Uh, I think it's better than your sig :\. i'm going to have to QFT that as well. Anyways, Deffinitly get C4D again and use that. It will help a lot. The brushing is a tad basic, but I Know how you feel "starting over" (I didn't take as long as a break, but still took a good one).
