I think that Jagex should make it so people who have the level and a chisel on them can cut gems from the trade screen. That would cut down on scamming. Same with smelting. It'd be a little different though. You'd have to be in the same house as the furnace to smelt it.

I've never seen anybody scam on free cutting/smithing/smelting. It's pretty much an unspoken rule, and as long as you have the hiscore screen open your unlikely to ever get scammed.

Hey it's been done. People have stolen my gems before while they were going to cut them. If someone was gonna cut a dragonstone for you, would you give it to em so they could cut it? Hell no.
