I don't know if this is a really stupid question or whatnot, but does bear fur (dropped by bears) have any purpose? Is is crafted into armor like cowhide? It is some member feature I don't know about? Or is it just pointless?

It really serves no purpose at all. The only thing its good for is that the Fur Trader in Varrock Square will buy each Fur for 12gp each. Kind of good for a low lvl player, but totally useless really.
