November 5, 200619 yr mage would b a good idea.. just forget about auto cast since u cant use weapons.. November 5, 200619 yr I haven't done it yet (alothugh my friends are telling me to), but my friends say the best way, maybe even the only way, ti beat the spirit is to mage it with any spell. Oh and make runes, lots of runes, you don't want to fight it bare-fisted do you? That means train runecrafting, unless you got 99 in which case you're fine :D This space is reserved for "Them"I'd eat Mackerel anyday over cake, because i know if i die i can make more :D Guards are selfish with their clue scrolls, for god's sake we practically have to kill them for their clue scrolls! :D

November 5, 200619 yr Yea all you really need is 17 magic and your good to go. Just hide behind the big bunch of mushrooms in the room of the spirit. This quest is actually one of the easiest quests in the game
November 5, 200619 yr I did it at combat lvl 55 and 21 magic yesterday. And I took it out with a few wind bolts easily, even air strike is good. Listen if ur that worried bring a powerful m8 along with ya and just u attack the tree and the spirit attacks u but then let ur friend take the spirit out and u will be able to cut the tree. You will all suffer under the power of my ranged, 18!!! Soon to be 99! Hope you can help by errr, helping me.
