I ma a range pure (1 pray, 1 def) and I ma going to kill the dagganoth mother for "horror from the deep" quest. Any tips on safespot for a ranger or tips in general?

nope there is no safe spot at all. there is with melee safe spot. but as soon as the mom notice she cant melee you, she will turn on ranged attack. so it's good to have at least enough prayer to use protect from range.

I am not sure but i think u can use rings of reacoil on her.bring 3 or 4.

 

 

 

Super defence and Ranger potions my help alot.

i did it in full rune with full 50 prayer and nearly 70 defence, and in the few seconds between my prayer running out and me killing it she managed to make me eat twice and hit something insane like 12, 12 ,8 constantly first time ive nearly died in ages

I see tons of pures with those lovely books, you can do it. Defence and sara pots help a lot, and perhaps take a friend that will drop sharks so you can pick them up during the fight.

did it with 50 range it is np.see you know there is some stalactite in the middle you hide behind it she cant range nor melee you.wait till she turns green then msb spec her and hide again when she changes colour.i did it on lobs with 1 lob left and im only 50 range so its pushover for you.

You don't need prayer, don't you dare raise it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just bring the different combat styles you need. All 4 elemental spells, as high level as you can get (meaning use death if you can, but chaos would work just fine). Bring range to shoot him, and try to bring a melee weapon also.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just keep switching between styles and bring sharks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh also, Sara books are useless. Get Zammy if you can for knives, but if Zammy is too price, get Guthix which is much cheaper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sara books are only useful if you are trying to have extra magic defence and some prayer bonus.

i did it with 1 pray 1 def on a range pure at 32cmb.. theres a staglamite u stand behind and when shes a certain color you step out and attack her then go behind staglamite when she changes color. ring of recoils help alot too. Although i didn't use any. :wall: good lucky, its pretty easy once u get the hang of it, oh and bring some chaos spells too. (if u can)

ok, wheres this "stalagmite" u all speak of. Is is the one in middle of dungeon or one near melee safespot for first dagganoth?
