Now people are running around with boots. Could anyone tell me how they get these? ^_^;

Go to the barbarian village, and in the middle you'll see an 'entrance'. Go down it. :3>

There are things that CAN kill you, but it's no trouble to just run past them. Take some food if you're worried.
