  1. I thought it was a bit lonely cooking all by my lonesome! T_T
  2. Runescape Classic says hi. Long time... This is true, but I think it would require RS to be incredibly competitive in the next couple of years to find a way to outdo others graphics or playstyles. Make RS something that other cannot be.
  3. Hello all! I've applied to join the Golden Horde and I was hoping I would be accepted! Many thanks. =]
  4. Bummer! I liked being a part of a small crowd that didn't have numbers in their name; "Kaioke." Perhaps I'll change it to something ridiculous like, "Coat Hanger", "Sneakers", "Converse", "Sanitizer", "Signpost." It should be fun.
  5. Who do they pray to? They're the source of all Prayer powers. If their powers are strong enough to share them with millions of players and not even mind, imagine what their power would be if they use it on themselves- Infinite Prayer (and probably a lot stronger than the Prayer powers we get, not to mention that you cannot use Prayer on them...) You'd have to be pretty conceited to pray to yourself. Haha. Well, in that case I don't thing they'd be praying to themselves but using their inert powers to protect themselves, or perhaps the Elder Gods? But, agreed at being conceited. =]
  6. You might want to include Cursed Trees and Evil Trees, they're a good source of experience. Along those lines, you might want to put in Woodcutting Brawlers and cutting the Magic Trees, taking off Brawlers, killing Cursed Tree in Alternate Plane, then go back to Magic Tree.
  7. It's in the tips, tricks and notes section at the bottom. :)

  9. I feel like somebody that needs to have their progress displayed for the world to see is too worried about their appearance and how they are viewed. If you're level 87. Cool. Be level 87 combat. If you have a level 99, cool. Runescape has become so involved in displaying achievements for everyone to see. Don't worry about what the world see you as, have fun.. it's Runescape. Come on... Seriously. c:
  10. You could buy a Rune Plate for about 60k or a Torag's Plate for 260kish
  11. Funnisam: Hm. I didn't know there were only 5 tabs as a F2P user. Guess I should have figured that there were less tabs for the F2P players. Napalm_Death: In your sixth tab, what kind of drops go there? Ones you wouldn't sell or wouldn't use, which would leave..?
  12. So, I was looking through my bank and realized how very poorly organized it is and that I have three tabs at the end that are basically nothing. It basically goes like- Everything Tab - Random stuff that doesn't have a place in the other tabs. It's pretty unorganized here. Herblore/ Farming Tab Runecrafting/ Magic Tab Armor/ Weapon/ Equip-able Tab General Items Tab - Hammers, Chisels, random Tools, Rope, Yarn, etc Summoning Tab And then my last three tabs are kind of for whatever. Though, they all include my current projects, such as making x mithril bars or creating pouches for 300 Smoke Devils, etc. So, how do you organize your bank? Is it even organized at all? Do you use your tabs? What do they look like- what do you use to distinguish them? I searched throughout general discussion and couldn't find another topic like this, sorry if there is.
  13. You may purchase the Quest Cape from the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village for 99k once you have all the current quest points possible. When a new quest comes out, it will automatically unequip from your until you finish the new quest. If you have no room in your inventory, it will go to your bank. If there is no room in your bank, the Wise Old Man will hold it for you.
  14. There is something about this idea that I really like- "To get a security pass, you must have a bank pin in place for 3 weeks." Or something along those lines. And then once you order it or whatever, you have to confirm it with your bank pin. If the pin didn't last for three weeks, then there would be an obvious need to change your password. This would also mean that if there is a hi-jacker that the actual owner has time to undo the changes that they made. :-)
  15. Hey, I'm convinced that was just added. I could have sworn that wasn't there a week ago. Maybe it was... Fail. Thanks for the tips, Beetle!
  16. Clue scrolls don't usually have any large profit for me, but I do them anyway. I suppose it's fun to teleport across Gielinor and do puzzle scrolls to get some lobsters. Oh well. It can be frustrating when it feels like you could be making more money training construction, 'eh?
  17. Hey all, I was wondering if you were able to use stat boosters for the farming and herblore requirements for While Guthix Sleeps. Thanks!
  18. no, you have to buy them from zaff in varrock or the grand exchange. You can also get them from Baba Yaba's Magic Shop [the moving house on Lunar Isle] and from the Mage Training Arena.
  19. You should have no fear. Member's Objects have no skill boosts of F2P.
  20. I feel as though they are less respected because they are a commonality amongst the players- the reason it is a commonality; because it is easy to achieve. This can be related to Guthan's armour. In the beginning- when it was released, if you saw someone with Guthan's, you would be like, "Woah! Awesome job getting that!! The spear is like.. 10m alone!!" There was a respect to it, because it wasn't something you got to have. At the same token, if someone had Karil's set (the cheapest of the time), you wouldn't give that player the same amount of "props" as you did to the Guthan's, because a large amount of people could go out and get Karil's as they pleased. So, back to the capes. Now, there are many players that have the Fletching and Cooking cape- as I said before, because it was easy. The easy that I am talking about is in relation to something like Slayer or Farming, I think we can all agree on that. Since we consider the easier to achieve, they are easier to get- this is a concept explained by Parkinson's law. If we rationalize something to be easier for us, it does become easier for us [Parkinson's law also states that if we give ourselves impossible goals to achieve and we really want to achieve them, it is possible, but that is a completely different story]. To end- in the beginning when only a few people had Cooking/ Fletching capes, it was a big deal. Now you can find many people who have them. Having a small number of people who have a certain item makes them part of an Elite that YOU'RE not in which gives them their respect.
  21. It basically comes down to Time versus Money. Is the amount of time to gain the experience you would from the lamp greater than the amount of money that you will be saving? If yes, then use it on a time skill such as Slayer or Farming. Is the amount of money you're saving less than the amount of money you would make in the time that you can gain the experience you're getting? If yes, then use it on a money skill such as Construction, Prayer or Summoning.
  22. I only have about a million on my account, because I have value in my items. Go skilling! :)
