Vito_Blade
Yaaa... For some reason my mouse gestures just died on me. And since I don't use back, forwards, refresh, new tab, etc, these are very important to me. Anyone mind giving me some tips on getting it working again? Oh, and even more importantly, at the same time my mouse gestures died, my Hold Left Click down + press Right Click = Go Fowards, and Hold Right Click + Left Click = Go Back died. I use that WAY more than mouse gestures to be honest. Can someone please help me out here? I love FF because you can do all those things, and now they aren't working. :? Cameron! I need thy! "We'll bring the sexy back to judging >_>." --Nadril Bleh, once I get off my lazy bum and go to Imageshack, there will be a picture here. Vape
Did you just upgrade to Fx 2? If you go to tools -> add-ons or tools -> extensions, is mouse gestures in there? If it is there, try checking for updates to it, if that doesn't work you could try right clicking and disabling it, then restarting Firefox, then enabling it again. If it's not, did you change profiles accidentally perhaps? Are your bookmarks, etc. still there? If your bookmarks etc. are all still there, try downloading and installing mouse gestures again. If your bookmarks and other customisations have gone too, you might have created a new profile. Exit Firefox completely (check the task manager (ctl + alt + del) to ensure no firefox[Caution: ExecutableFile] processes remain) and then go to start -> run: firefox[Caution: ExecutableFile] -p - that'll bring up the profile manager and you can select your old profile (probably called default.) Hrm, I can't think of much else to say, but if you recently changed anything or upgraded Firefox, that'd be useful info. Tomorrow morning I'm going away for the weekend so if your issue still isn't resolved and nobody else here knows, I suggest trying the MozillaZine forums, or #firefox on irc.mozilla.org .. or #addons might be of assistance too. Oh and runesmithie is correct, rocker navigation is a part of mouse gestures. Where the bloody hell are you?
