I was multitasking today like i always do;runescape, Tip.it, AIM, all that good stuff... and i got this ramdon. I came back and it said, "fine dont help me" and all my items were noted!!! which random was this?

That would be one of the certers Niles, Miles or Giles. If you don't talk to them they note your inventory

that would be the "Niles, Miles and Giles" mini game. if you talk to them, they quiz u very easily, and if u win, u get a gem or something. if u lose or ignore them *DUMDUMDUM* they convert all ur inventory items into notes :XD:

And sometimes wielded items, so don't ignore them on purpose just to get things noted (like ore or logs). :P

Not sure if they still do it, but a while ago they tele you too. I notice them and wanted them to note my inventory of logs. Got teled and I hate them now.
