I used pen and ink for the hand and then scanned into photoshop for the sword colors

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried using hatch and cross hatching for the hand and I am happpy with the results though I see a few spot where it could use a little more depth

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The sword is simple gradiant and fill (I thought about using a texture spray for more detail on the hilt ect..)

To me it looks like alot of pasted parts on a pile, Its not really One.

 

 

 

And its a mix of sketch & graphics, those two dont go togheter.

It's not pasted, I drew the sword aswell, and I wanted to try something different so I decided to make it a mixture of graphics and sketching

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have seen it done before very well, and wanted to try my hand at it

maybe less strokes and more soft shading on the hand? As of now it looks kinda hairy..
