Hey I wanna do the Lost City quest but I'm obviously gonna train up to do it as I'm only lvl 52. So I was wondering. What would be the minimum lvl to kill the tree spirit? Coz it can hit 10s. Also, in the quest guide it says the only monsters to kill are some zombies and the tree spirit. But later on in the guide it says you can kill the greater deamons. I've seen the map and I was wondering if you could just run past them?

About the tree spirit... i would use magic (or ranged if you have high enough flecting to make your own bows) since there is safespots..

Best thing to do is just run past any npc's you encounter, which isn't too many but they are strong (Greater demons being your main threat). Once you reach the tree spirit, the safest thing to do is find one of the safespots wherte you can mage/range the Tree Spirit without it being able to touch you. There is a couple, and I'm sure there is a picture in the quest guide on the Tip.it website of one of the safe spots. It's vulnerable to magic too, so it isn't too hard to kill.

as long as you have a remotely decent magic or ranged level you should be able to do lost city. you have to take on zombies to get yourself an axe, but that is about it. If I recall rightly, your prayer gets drained down to just a couple of points, just enough to protect from the greaters as you run past them. As posters above mentioned - there are safespots aplenty so dont worry about having a low combat. You just need to make sure that you have plenty of arrows/runes to take him on (and something to tele out with).

The demons shouldn't be a problem. They'll get maybe only 1 hit on you if you're running

Flat out don't melee. The tree spirit hits high (9's and 10's) and you can't have any armour on Entrana. YOU WILL GET KILLED. Just get mage up to whatever lvl you need to use fire bolt. It took me 13 chaos runes to kill the tree spirit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But answering your question, I would say about combat 80, with def 70 and str 70.

Ok thanks, what would you suggest to train on for a low lvl mage? And I mean low. Also can you take staffs to Entrana?

No staves, as they can be equipped. so that means you'll have to make/buy all the runes too. Train mage on anything wearing heavy armour. If you've done Wanted, I would suggest black knights because you will gain favour with the templar knights. I trained my mage from about 15 to 40 on white knights (while I was f2p). Just find a safespot and you shouldn't have a problem.
