The length the fire is lit, and cooking etc is no way affected by the type of log, except the EXP you gain from lighting ^_^

Nope, log type has no effect on burn rate. Ranges however have a lower burn rate, I believe the Lumbridge one is the best.

I was actually talking about burn rate as the Lumbridge range has the lowest burn rate out of any range in Runescape.
