A Weird Problem.

Okay, whenever I go on Runescape, or other games, my computer emits a loud, shrill beeping sound. It can be heard all around the house.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have no idea why it happens, but the weird thing is that it happens almost everywhere around the RS world except in the underground areas such as Varrock sewers and ice caves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a persistant problem and I would be glad if I could get some help.

First off do you have a sound card? (ei. Your NOT using on board sound)

 

 

 

Second is your sound on mute when this happens or does it only happen when the sound is on (in the volume control panel)?

 

 

 

Thridly do you have a graphics card?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you said yes you have a sound crad then it maybe lose, this is easy to fix just remove the case and push the sound card back in (you may need to remove a screw which fastens it onto the case).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If it happens when the sound is not muted and doesnt happen when it is muted then its more the likely its your speakers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have a graphics card and the sound still happens when the volume is muted then it could be that your graphics card is loosd or the fan on the graphics card is faulty. (the first is as easy to fix as a loose sound card, the latter means replacing your graphics card).

Hmm, thanks for the feedback, but the sound comes from the CPU, never from speakers, which I hardly ever turn on anyway.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Secondly, I only have the built-in graphics card for my computer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The beep is very loud and shrill, and one thing's for sure, it doesn't come from my speakers.
