Yeah, it's so hard [or I would imagine] to do a speed metal song with a ton of bass. It's possible, but at the speeds dragonforce does their songs at the bass would mostly just muddy everything up. Its kind of like a fat kid trying to be a trimmed racer in a professional race. [bad example, but eh].
