Ok, I've got a strange request for opinions.

Now, I've hit 85 mining, and I love mining rune, GREAT money, horrid exp.

When I go back to mining granite.... I do two loads then stop, cause of making no money, drives me nuts.

Basically I'd like a few opinions on something to mine for a good money/exp mixture.

Iron - good, fast, but.... boring beyond anything.

Coal - Slower, stll good exp, nice money.

Gold ores - Worse exp of the three, good money but market's saturated and only going for 400-450 each when used to fetch me 550-600 each.

If you're looking for financial benefits, I would say to go with Coal, which sells for 150-180ea. However, Iron ore does sell for 100ea nowadays and it is faster xp since a Rune Pickaxe can one-hit an Iron rock.

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

I suggest the gold mine from between a rock quest. Plenty of gold to mine, and wear ring of charos so the guy who banks for you only takes a couple of ores. Sells for at least twice as much as coal, and no need to world hop like higher ores.

I'm no master at mining, but I think this should be good experience and money. :)
