COKE Posted November 26, 2006 Share Posted November 26, 2006 My device manager is showing some unknown software My friend sayis it might be my sound card. But my sound is working just fine and when I run dxdiag this is what I get. And every time I turn my computer it keeps saying that my computer has found new hardware so I had to disable the device. This is very weird because then I cant check what type of sound card I have under the device manager. I already checked and I only have one sound card. Besides the device manager dosent show another sound device As my sound is working perfectly it is no problem... but I am still very curious as to what is that other device. Darren Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 The drivers will probably need updating, because it looks like your computer isn't communicating with the device thus giving it the ''Unknown'' look.
