December 1, 200619 yr Author good skill idea, but it sounds kind of boring to train... Thats sort of the point...with such a valuble skill its gonna have to be hard to train... Plus..are any skills fun to train most of the time?

Well... 1. This idea is still incomplete as i am open to many more suggestions. 2. "well rs is supposed to be fun"...Your right, it IS 'supposed' to be fun...and it is...50% of the time... The other 50% is composed of tedious training just to earn yurself some shiny gold to buy that whip you always wanted just so you can have fun.

Im saying by training science you can earn more benefits in other skills.
December 2, 200619 yr It sounds iffy. I personally don't like the idea, as Jagex could certainly find a better skill for their next big release. Creating hybrids of herbs would be utterly pointless unless Jagex scrambles to create new potions. The extra money from high alchemy would throw the economy into complete chaos. And the sharpening of axes and pickaxes? Well, I'll give an example: If I can sharpen a bronze axe and make it cut as efficiently as a rune axe, what would be the point of even having a rune axe in the game to begin with? And who's to say that we need an entirely new skill to teach new players how to play the game? That would be almost pointless. All Jagex would have to do is update Tutorial Island. And there are now skill masters scattered throughout the world to help the newbies. (Yes, newbies... not noobs.) I think "Science" would fall flat on its face. That's simply my opinion, but I stand upon it adamantly. The Self-Proclaimed Pirate King!
