both the versions are well within tip.it limits and was a pain anti-aliasing

first i was gonna make a full body but stopped after the hand and whip were done

 

 

 

oh.. and the color count is high because of anti aliasing it

 

 

 

Without it Version 1 is 12 Colors and 2 is 11 Colors :D

I think version two (more intense colours) might be a bit too intense, particularly the highlights on the arm... It just doesn't seem right. Adding more shadows to the arm could fix it as well..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think the avatar would be a bit more appealing if it were shown at a different view. Like instead of the whip being cut off at the bottom, the hand being cut off at the top so we can get a better view of the whip (since that's the highlight of the picture, unless I'm mistaken).

Yeah shadeing is all over... A few shades of color can make it look fine.. you don't need that intense muscles...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would almost say pillow shade it... The arm just can't take your level of detail
