hi ppl. Just wanna ask some advice on defeating the tanglefoot (lvl 111)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i am quite low level and my farming level is only 1. is it possible to mage or range him 1st then use the secateurs for the finishing blow?

I believe you only need them for the finishing blow.

IIRC any other weapon than the enchanted secateurs hits constant 0s on the tanglefoot. but it's been a while since i played the quest, so i might be mistaken.

I read on another website that it was required only for the finishing blow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But, I too did the quest many months ago so I can't say with any certainty, but I too had trouble hitting the beastie with anything but the secateurs. I know that I switched over very quickly and then had little-to-no trouble using the secateurs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I never tried to mage or range it, though.

i did it i think a month ago, and, you have to hit everyhit with the enchanted secateurs, i tried to hit it with a rune dagger(p++), and it said something around the lines of "it has no effect again the tanglefoot"
