What monster do you guys suggest my friend should attack for level 3 clues?

Go here may help you but it depends on what level your friend is and the items that he has avaliable to use.

I have just done a couple of slayer assignments on Gtreater Demons, and got 2 clues on each assignment. So I would say Greaters, but alot of people say Hellhounds, but as they dont drop anything else, there is no chance of another good drop.

As fatbill said there is a sticky topic for this. Best Place to "harvest" clues lvl 1, 2, and 3.
