Do you have to pay them every day? Or after a few trips and how much? The couldn't tell by the construction guide how it worked.

You have to pay evry X trip, not sure about the exact number.

I got my cook to do 7-10 trips of "work" before she asked me for her wages

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
