first ever sig, Added Words, No render still

i made this sig using one of woopidoo2's guides, personally i like it, but i would like to put a render on it, and text, how?

You shouldn't put a render on that.

 

 

 

Text is done via the text tool, surprisingly. The icon is a small 'T' (Shortcut key [T])

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Border should be 1px black not 2/3px white.

Personally I do not think that Woopidoo's outcome was good, the tutorial was clearly laid out though.

if you want to put a render on that then it should be behind the lens flare.

ok, but how do i add a render in the first place? (first time with photoshop)
