Mouse problems

Ok, so I got me a new mouse, since the other connected and disconnected itself a few times in a minute or so.

And now I got optical mouse. From a4 Tech (Clas Ohslon thing)

The mouse cursor occasionally move itself over the screen. Tried to clean it out and everything. The mouse pad I got is from Guild Wars Factions Collector's Edition. (WINNER and KILLER thing from http://www.esportnova.com)

Do I have to get a new mouse, since I can't fix that thing?

this happens to the mice at my schools, try using it on a clean, white piece of paper for a while and see if it jumps over to the side. if it doesn't, then the mouse is fine and its the mouse pad that has too many scratches.
