To get rid of that annoying thing for UAC, as well as hide the other icons that you don't want to see, just right click on the task bar->properties->notification->customize. That will show you a list of everything in the task bar, and you just choose hide for the behavior for the ones that you don't want to see.

The fastest way is to buy raw lobs, and cook them somewhere. I used the range in Al-Kharid, and it went really fast. You could also go to the GE in world 1, and use some of the fires that the people light. That is the fastest way to do it, but you have to pay attention while cooking, because the fire could go out. With a range, you can browse forums, or do other things while cooking. If you want fishing exp too, then go to Barb Village, and fish and cook there. Just give away the fish that you catch. This is slower, but it is free if you get the feathers yourself.

Just to clarify, use zero, not o.

Seperate place for shops in marketplace section of forum

that would be good actually. i support this. -
Umm... isn't that a good thing for them? So by what you are saying, they won't do it because it will make them more money? You can always have 2 of everything, or just have a bank sale, so i don't support.

Are you suggesting that they look at every person that plays RS, and see if they are well behaved? This would take thousands of staff to do, and it would not benefit Jagex at all, because they would not see any extra money after doing this. It is an ok suggestion, but in the end, it just wouldn't work.

runebox ---a secure way to store your precious items

Some of them actually do take a screen shot when you click, so they can see your pin. -
Dell has always made it very difficult to upgrade your computer (aside from RAM) unless you specifically upgrade it through them. My sister had a dell and my grandmother had a dell. One of the cases I opened was essentially booby trapped - I couldn't swap in a new video card, I could take out the hard drive (had a wierd IDE cable that couldn't be removed) and I couldn't add another hard drive or CD/DVD drives. The other case wasn't a whole lot different. Dell even keeps a monopoly on their ink... dell printer? You HAVE to order your dell ink thru dell on their website. I have a Dell Dimension 5150, and i had to replace the motherboard, and it was very easy. It was just screwed into place. I did have to buy the same kind, because no other one wold have lined up with all of the cut-outs for the ports. I can easily change anything around in the case. If you are going to be gaming, i would say that you should just buy a new computer, just save the HD, and CD/DVD drives. The Celeron processor wouldn't get you very far, and the ram you have is most likely DDR. I would say that you would want an Intel Dual core processor, with at least 2MB L2 cache, and depending on the games, up to 2 gigs of ram. The Evga 7900 GS KO would be a good, yet cheap graphics card, because it can run games like BF2 on max settings with no lag. For any computer, you will also need a good PSU. You should always read the reviews on Newegg about the PSU. (a 500W one should do fine for most cards, as long as it is not an 8800) Hopefully i helped some.

don't forget that the stove in lumby will burn less often if you have done the quest. it's not far from a bank anymore, so you can use that.
-
If you could give us a bigger image, that would be nice. I think when they updated the graphics, they also did ducks, and they now can walk on land. It's a new thing, not a bug.

you should go to world one above varrock west bank, and study the prices. don't only go off of sellers prices, you have to look at buyer prices.

The color bots also read the text in the upper left corner. It won't set them off at all.

Where can I get: red gloves? (in f2p, where do people sell?)
nomar04 replied to Frzphnx's topic in Help and Advice
he knows that, he explained it in his short question that you obviously didn't read. :shame: I would say that either varrock bank on a crowded world will have them. -
There is nothing wrong is wearing a dragon skirt. It is a lot cheaper, with the same stats. I see no shame.

PJing is getting killed right after you kill someone else, so you would lose your stuff and the loot you got from whoever you just killed. This idea (which i dont support) wants a short protection after killing someone, which takes out all the fun and risk out of PKing. ~Pat K thanks it is what i thought it was.
-
It is a very good idea. It would be very tough to have an efficient way to store it in the servers. It would also be tough to blend all of the different combinations together smoothly, and without bugs.
-
What is pjing? I though it was getting killed after someone killed you. But i haven't really cared enough to really find out.
-
It could be your graphics card overheating. This can cause what you explained. Does it happen completely randomly, or does it happen when you are playing a game, or putting stress on the card? Are you sure your wires/graphics card are attached well?

Blade summed it all up nice. Runescape isn't that demanding on your computer, and any new computer will easily have a good enough processor to run it. I run it with XP with 512 MB of RAM, and i have no lag. I would suggest getting Vista, because XP will be ignored by Microsoft soon. 2GB is a good amount, and it should load things very fast.

I think it's just because there isn't enough of a contrast of the trim, and it doesn't stand out as much as Zammy or Sara.

The only way to not loose money in f2p with smithing is to buy iron and coal and make steel bars. You would be rich after the end, but it would take waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. You could also mine your own stuff, and make plates.
-
I assume you have to pay the 100k again, but I don't know.
-
Yes, you get a steady flow of people with 2k + ess back. You just have to make sure that you don't get too many people, or else they will get frustrated that you don't trade with them immediately, or else they go away.
-
Do members have to use p ess to make fire? If you don't that would save you alot.
-
Thats a bad idea. That would take all the risks out of pking. You could just hit the button once a higher level comes along, and starts killing you. Why don't you just eat after you get a kill?
