Erm, nah. It was within the Party Room update (I think it was the Party Room one) Ducks have been roaming around for about a month or 2 :

Guess what i saw... i trained my hunter at chinchompas and then used the fairy ring. But, then i saw that a chinchompa came to Zanaris! :shock: Pretty odd.

No it isn't a bug (I think)... I've seen it also east of draynor village, northwest of lumbridge, west from the sheeps.

 

 

 

Cool thing is that if you stand right above it you can exemine yourself (yes yourself and not the duck where you are standing on) and it will react like you are a duck :P. You don't need to lower your mouse till you are where the duck is standing/sitting.

Well I tried it again, still didnt see anything, though I did see A Duck outside of the water where theres alot of willows, that place macros usually hang around. So im still not sure

If you could give us a bigger image, that would be nice. I think when they updated the graphics, they also did ducks, and they now can walk on land. It's a new thing, not a bug.
