December 19, 200619 yr ok yesterday i got a lvl 3 clue from ankous, did it and when i git the coordinates sumwhere on karamja i went there and killed the saradomin guy. I had 6 hp left when he died (stonger than i expected), and didnt realize i was poisoned. So i then died and lost my clue, sextant, watch, navigation map, and other stuff.... So then ive been tryin to get another clue at ankous for like 4 hours, and nothing. Normally id get a clue in about a half hour. I think theres something wrong like i need to recover my previous clue somehow. When i died, i didnt dig up the casket or anything, but i had killed the saraadomin guy. So i thought maybe if i got back and dig where i was supposed to, but nothing happened. I went to the last person involved with the clue which was the examiner, but nothing. The only thing i didnt check would be the observatory proffesor and the ppl i got sextant and watch from, and i dont think they would have it... what the heck do i do im so aggravated 1 Dragon drop: D med6 Barrows Drops: Brassy, T hams(2), Karils top, Dharoks legs, Ahrims topMoney lost due to bans, deaths, hacks: 78 mil
December 19, 200619 yr Just keep killing until you get another, clues are very random drops, you're just having bad luck getting one at the moment. December 19, 200619 yr 4 hours of not getting clue is long - but getting clues is still random and I'm pretty sure I've had times as long as that without clues. If you feel you need a break from ankous, I suggest you spend some time at the quickest ways of getting clues there is - either by stealing from the HAM, or by killing goblins in goblin house in lumbridge. So yeah, its level 1 - but it should allow you to check out that you really can get a clue again. Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
December 19, 200619 yr Author i know clues are random, all drops from any monster is random (dicluding bones, ashes). There is know predetermined drop for any monster (again disclude bones ashes etc.). Also there are no degrees of randomness, either it is or it isn't. There is a degree of probability though if thats what u mean, that they are rare.
