wintumber tree and becoming a member

Featured Replies

Hey, I'm f2p right now but plan on becoming a member (again) soon, I've already gotten my reindeer stuff for the christmas update, but does anyone know if I have to become a member before the update is removed if I want a wintumber tree when I do become a member?

Yup you have to become a member before its gone other wise, well its gone.

Well if you read the Update on the main Runescape page...

The Christmas update will be removed in the first update of January. However, the rewards for it will stay in the game

That means you will have until the first update (most likely the first week of Jan if Jagex does not go on holiday) to buy members and get the tree.

:( I was hoping I could become membs later, oh well, thanks for the help.

NO one knows for sure. Some say you might be able to get it when you buy members, because you have already earned the tree by earning the reindeer hat. OThers like them say you have to earn it as a member to use it. We can't know for sure till the first day after they stop the update. And if they don't offer it to new members, if they complain enough they probably will.
