I would recomend either the minotaurs or fleshcralwers in the SOS. The minotaurs drop tons of iron arrows while the fleshcrawlers are slightly faster exp because they auto attack. Neither should cause you any trouble if you were full rune, and if worst comes to worst you can go up to the barbarian village and catch a couple fish.

This is where I have always trained in F2P, but not because of the limps, but because of the runes drops. I also have a high enough combat level that I rarely need food.
