helpful but was looking for pre-designed layouts, like ppl putting chapel right next to teleportals and such

Don't think there is any around, just build your house so you know you'll be able to have those two rooms connected. I have mine like that, except they're on the 2nd floor. I have my chapel and then my telly room right by it. Quite useful for barrow runs :)

I don't think there's a guide, but here are a few pointers:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Chapel near house portal

 

 

 

-Quest Hall near Chapel (unlimited glory)

 

 

 

-Think about conserving rooms. You don't really need a parlour, you don't need multiples of the same room (except two bedrooms)

 

 

 

-Think about what rooms you will want in the future, even if you can't build them yet
