I would melee them, you need good food, I get about 4 each run without a super set. Anti dragon shield and a whip, thats all. I haven't maged them.

I would skip them, if I were you. Their drops are usually rubbish, and they take a lot of resources to kill.

but how do i get a new task?go talk to a different slayer person?i talked to the one in edge dungen.?

If you want a new task, go to the Slayer Master in Burthope. This is called "Burthoping" or skipping a task. He'll give you a pretty weak assignment, something like goblins or Unicorns. haha.
