2. can the brothers go through ppl because if no i am going to start a barrow"buddies" program where first timers like me can have a short lesson on how to do barrows using 2 ppl.

And no, Barrows Brothers are just like other NPCs; they can't go through you until you've been stepped on/through by another player or an NPC that spawns under you. Click the second link in my signature to find out about that.

ummmmm no, thats terribly wrong, they WILL walk through you and WILL kill you if you try this, especially on dh. Sorry for being so serious but that could have resulted in death and you obviously haven't tried it yourself before giving advice.
