Fight Caves using only...mage?

So, I plan to attempt the fight caves, using only mage. Why?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Because I'm tired of seeing so many rangers beat the fight caves, but the mages are thrown to the wayside.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-I have ancient magics

 

 

 

-I'm lvl 81

 

 

 

-Prayer lvl is 47

 

 

 

-Defense lvl is 64

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Plan to get my mage to 70 (65 at the moment).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok...so, I've read the guides and plan to use the "def 1" guide. ANy suggestions before i try the caves? :D

Get rich. Very rich. Very very rich. The level 360s have a very high mage defence level so expect to use about 100k worth of spells on each.

I assume ur gonna use blood spells as opposed to guthans. I can tell u now that from wat ive heard, this is a BAD idea :shame: . The 25% healing power doesnt match up to the 100% healing of guthans. Also, like mEB said, some of those creatures have high mage def, especially the lvl 180 rangers, the lv360 ket-zeks, and jad himself[ :shock: ]. So...unless ur going for the lowest lvl to finish the caves(which u cant, ur too high already), then id tell u to try something new. Maybe get ur def, attk, and range to 70 (60 prayer wud help), then get guthans and some crystal bows to power ur way thru the caves.

[Oh and btw, cut those rangers some slack. THis is the only place they actually get to shine over the other combat styles : ]
